reinventing loyalty programs
We are a group of friends obsessed with transforming loyalty programs and turning them into the way a brand connects with its community.
For a lot of people, loyalty is a boring thing: the airline, the bank, a card with points that expire and that nobody quite knows what to do with. Programs that have been around forever and almost never work, with very few cases where they do (at least at first glance).
We saw the same thing. Dead programs, badly designed, with no real incentive for the customer to use them. Loybox came out of that: out of an industry that stood still while everything else moved.
We want any brand to be able to have its own loyalty program, and the brand that takes it seriously to be able to have the best one. Quality is in the details, so we put care into every single thing we design.
For the member: that they feel the brand appreciates them, that the program works, that it is fun and that the benefit is real. For the brand: that the relationship with its community becomes the asset the business rests on, and not next month's advertising budget.

Paper stamp cards
We started out wanting to digitize the stamp card that coffee shops hand out: it worked, but it got lost in a pocket and left no data behind.
The Loybox app
We built the first version of the app: every shop in one place. We got it off the ground with no starting capital, giving it whatever time we had.
Door to door
We went out to sell it on foot, one shop at a time. Coffee shops were the first to join the app.
Pharmacies, restaurants, bars and other businesses
After the coffee shops came industries we had not planned for, almost all of them neighborhood businesses.
More than 300 brands
Instagram ads opened the door to brands from all over the country, and the app reached 100K users.
The opportunity was in the online channel
We saw that the online store was the other side of the same customer, and we integrated with Tiendanube.
Every brand wanted its own
The big ones did not want a shelf inside someone else's app: they wanted their own name and their own experience. That is when we built one product per brand.
Three countries
A program of its own for each brand, running in the physical store and in the online store, in Argentina, Mexico and Spain.
We have fun building this, and we think it shows. What we love is seeing the impact of what we build out in the real world.
